Era el rey de Toledo el moro Almenón, con quien el rey de Castilla don
Fernando el Grande mantenía cordial amistad.

Este rey moro tenía una hija muy hermosa y compasiva, llamada Casilda.

Una esclava castellana contó á la hija del rey moro que los nazarenos
amaban á su Dios, y á su rey, y á sus padres, y á sus hermanos, y á sus
