van vreemde arbeiders. De exploitatie der nikkelmijnen, de verbouw
van koffie, tabak en maïs dwingen den europeeschen kolonist, gebruik

De reeders uit Nouméa, de hoofdstad van Nieuw-Caledonië rustten dus
vaak schepen uit, die naar de Nieuwe Hebriden en de Salomonseilanden
